71. My Responsibilities

I'm finally doing something responsive to MTB. I would post on the main blog but it just feels too awkward to let all those other people into my head. So what responsibilities has God given me? Well, I think he gave me the responsibility of looking out for everyone dear in my life. I probably don't often show it but when someone close to me or even someone I've grown attached to over a short period of time is being harassed or harmed in anyway; my mind instantly goes into protective mode. I constantly see these special people get attack in some shape or form - whether it be intentional or not - I still would feel obligated to defend them. It’s in my nature to root for the underdog and cradle them in caring arms. For example, my mom would tell me people would pick on her at work sometimes and I would get this sudden urge to go slap some old people at the firm. And I know I don't demonstrate these affectionate acts of love as much as I should but its there. It’s all internal. Plus I'm too much of a chicken to get into confrontation (Its pretty pathetic really - the bugger is all talk but no walk). But I will back you up when needed. I will take a bullet for you (so to speak). So yes, that was my train of thought...

Its not a post without some visuals. 8D

How to tick people off

1. Leave the copy machine set to reduce 200%, extra dark, 17 inch paper, 99 copies.

3. Specify that your drive-through order is "TO-GO."

6. Insist on keeping your car windshield wipers running in all weather conditions "to keep them tuned up."

7. Reply to everything someone says with "that's what you think."

8. Practice making fax and modem noises.

10. Make beeping noises when a large person backs up.

11. Finish all your sentences with the words "in accordance with prophesy."

12. Signal that a conversation is over by clamping your hands over your ears and grimacing.

13. Disassemble your pen and "accidentally" flip the ink cartridge across the room.

23. Buy a large quantity of orange traffic cones and reroute whole streets.

24. Repeat the following conversation a dozen times.
"DO YOU HEAR THAT?"
"What?"
"Never mind, it's gone now."

27. Ask people what gender they are.

28. While making presentations, occasionally bob your head like a parakeet.

29. Sit in your front yard pointing a hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow down.

Frozen Water!?

This is an And-this-is-what-I-did.. post! Us older yet still immature group of people when on a little trip up north to Tahoe. And for some odd reason, I could tell that the trip wasn't going to go as planned. I think it started on the Friday morning when I was literally rushing around like a mad woman. First I had to pick up and drop off Alberto in the morning so he could get some last minute food. Second, I had to pick up Steph so we could remodel Mandy's room for her birthday - we covered the room with countless balloons as well as a creeper Edward at the window and a hubby Edward waiting in bed. It was funny because my mother dearest ruined the surprise a bit. She waited for her to get home and followed her to her room with the biggest grin across her face. That tipped it off a bit. But it's all good - it worked out just as well in the end. Back to Friday - So we got to church around 3 o'clock and started prepping and lugging and packing and a whole lot of manual labor. We left at 4 and was stuck in traffic for a while but it was good fun. We arrived at the cabin in the wee late hours of the night only to find that we have no running water. First major catastrophe - I never understood how precious water was until now. A good experience of what most third world countries go through. So yea, we couldn’t flush the toilets or take a shower. We resorted to melting the snow outside for toilet water. Hardcore. On Saturday the half went snowboarding while the others played in the snow. By nightfall all of us packed up and headed down to Sacramento. Spent another night there and went home. It was overall a good trip. I thought it was funny how God seems to have ruined all our plans in order for us to really wake up and know that he controls everything. Maybe nothing worked out because everything we did was all based on our motives - we didn't incorporate him into this retreat or even let him take the reins. Lesson learned I guess.

I guess another negative part of the trip were my accident prone incidents. I seriously got hurt the most on the trip. First Aid Kit was my new best friend during the weekend.... Two cuts on the fingers from the snow - Skidding on gravel on my jog to the car - Slipping and falling out of bed - Bruise on my foot from Steph - Hitting my head on the ceiling - Falling out of the slid - Cuts on the legs - And a whole lot. I'm gonna bring my doctor up next time. A bunch of other stuff happened but it seems too long to write them out. I'll put up some videos and photos later.

this is what I need, please?

e Í p a g g e l i ð a
I stole a Dictionary of Theology book this past Sunday! Wuahaha! JK. It was free. So while I was working on this photo, I took a moment to look up the definition of promise – found some interesting little nibbets. In the New Testament Scriptures the word Epaggelia, which in the overwhelming number of instances is simply translated promise, as a noun and in its verbal form; or a message of good tidings.

Edit/ Shoutout! So I've been receiving nothing but comments from the Youngs lately. Its nice to hear that you guys enjoy my work. I'm incredibly grateful and appreciate your good words! Thanks! <3

Epic Battles

Make your own sign! -Clique-
Hahahah! That`s so funny! I'd have a ball if I ever saw something like this on the road. Mandy and I are playing the strangest game ever. Whenever we would see each other, we'd whip out our invisible guns and weapons and have a free for all war with each other. Last time, I got her when she came home, but she dumped a bunch of acid chemicals on me and I shriveled up and died. But I resurrected and fire-bended(?) the bugger! Then I went into full martial arts mode and karate chopped her arse. We're idiots. Smashing!
