Christmas in China
I haven't done this in a while. Its been pretty hectic up until winter break. I was leaving for China & Hong Kong a week earlier than what I had hoped. Thus I must panic and stress through my finals. It was not a pretty site. Kathleen was digging through my hair and found tons of grey hair. But all ended well. I must really give praises and thanks to my Savior. He's really my knight in shining armor. I can always count on him to get me through. I guess the moral of this little fiasco is to always depend on God, no matter the situation, because He will see you through to the end. <3
On a side note: My atmospheric persecutive color&design painting went well. I got an A. Kekeke! Gloat* And it was good enough to be displayed for the AAU Winter Art Show. Kekekeke! Gloat some more* On the contrary, some guys gave me a hilarious critique. And I quote, "Is that a giant hamster!? What the heck is that thing!? I want to look closer.." >XDDDDD
Moving on, China was good and bad in many ways. I got to see a lot of history and sightseeing. The bad part would be the bad food and freezing weather. The fish we ate tasted really raw and seafood-y. And we had steam tofu way too many times. Plus we stayed in various hotels. Some were really nice, 5 stars with free internet, king size beds, and silk bed sheets. While others looked like something out of a horror movie. I'm very serious, I was so scared to take a shower. Hahaha. Anyway, we went to Beijing, Nanjing, WuXi, SuZhao, ShangHai, WuZhen and HangZhao. And then it was off to Hong Kong! I love HK. All my Dad's side of the family is over there and I love them to death. Did a bunch of shopping, eating, family time. It was all well. <3
