Behold The Bart Swing

I totally forgot to publish this. So I guess I rewrite this again. Our VFX professor is really a strange one. He spent a good hour of the class talking about this new fun craze of The Bart Swing. It was very interesting though. Apparently, he knew that a group of his friends were trying to do a little project on Bart. They assembled the contraption while no one was around and just left. And that morning, busy people got a little jolt of simple delight on their way to work. What an amusing concept.

Happy Mother's Everyday

Got it from Steph for Mother's day.

Criminals for a night

So last week, I joined some fellow softball players for a casual practice at the park near my place. We had to hop a fence because we were too lazy to walk around. But that’s not the worst part .. I didn’t realize I was target practice till Gloria started hitting them AT me. So painful. But I forgive her. I think Alberto’s was in more pain than me; he was hanging on the fence by the crotch. It one of those ‘you have to be there moments’. So funny. Anyway, we went to Banana Island for dinner and wound up doing a bunch of illegal things later that night. Oh dear goodness – I’m gonna get in trouble for mentioning this so I’ll be very brief about it. XD Amateur One almost hit a car on the other lane. Amateur Number Two ran a red light by accident. Amateur Number Three almost got caught by the cops at the DMV parking lot. We saw a lot of police that night and got kicked out of the ocean beach parking lot. Whheee….

XD's behind the wheel!

Full moon + Ocean = <3

Month of April

I can’t believe I'm even attempting to do this. But I really do enjoy treasuring my memories for later reminiscing. ALRIGHTY, here goes nothing...

Dates are a blur so I'll just be very vague about this. During Steph's spring break, she slept over because she doesn't want to be at home. See what an awesome friend I am. I think I deserve an award or something. The sleepover wasn’t anything fancy, just pizza and movies. We watched 'The day the earth stood still' - which really shaped my perspective of the human race a bit. I just think it’s hilarious and stupid how people react to an apocalypse. So just imagine everyone running away if Jesus decides to come back. Pretty sad actually. We always saw ‘Marley and Me’ - I wish I could say that it was a good heartbreaking sappy movie, but I'd be lying. The movie was good but way too long. I really was anticipating when the dog would die. Or maybe it’s because we were watching it at 3 in the morning. Six short hours later, we went down to the San Andreas Lake. Our goal was obstructed by a stupid fence, so we climbed the mountain instead. It such a appealing view up there. Breathtaking if anything else. OH! And we've crossed paths with two freaky snakes. Steph and Mandy were up ahead while I chatted in the back when we heard shrieks of horror. I looked up to see two black snakes slitter to the side. The sad thing is that I screamed for no apparent reason as well (Michelle too, so I’m not that much of a dork).

The next week, I think we went out for dinner in Japantown. We had EXPENSIVE Korean food. It was my first time, and I realize that I’m not into that particular kind of cuisine. We later drove around aimlessly and wound up at the Legion of Honor. I saw a raccoon for the first time!! Tried to get a picture but failed so I instructed us to drive forward to the spooky unknown darkness up ahead. Our driver, Franklin, freaked out when we got there and floored it in reverse. It was sooooo funny! I got it on video so that would be up, eventually.

I think I spent the majority of my Thursdays that month just hanging-out. Wednesdays would wipe me out, but I'm back up every Thursdays. Weird. I remember playing a lot of Wii, I mean A LOT. Basically, Steph got this game called 'Raving Rabbits' and her father was away on vacation so we went over to her place frequently. That game is extremely fun - it can seriously work you to death. What a way to die. Hahah. We played till the wee hours of the morning. In addition, we made fun Mii characters. That was remarkable.

Let’s see, we also spent one Thursday filming a promo for Family Retreat. I had the honor of claiming the supporting role. Thank you, thank you very much. It was exciting and fun - though, I was losing my voice. I played an evil foreign alien speaking cowboy who came down to earth in a quest to inform everyone of the upcoming summer retreat. Sweetness! But I think the main action we got that night was from the little fat spider I stepped on. Franklin was giving us a tour of his house when Steph screamed 'Watch out!’ Sadly, I didn’t watch out and ended up crushing a spider. I literally screamed like a baby and crawled up the 5-something feet of Steph and into her heroic arms. It was exceedingly devastating. I couldn’t relax the entire night, thinking its brothers and sisters would come back for vengeance. ><><>

Phew. Writing more would obviously bore you readers furthermore, so I’ll stop. Thanks for reading though. <3>

Leaving the lab early made me realize one thing. High school kids are annoying. They're pushy, loud, rude, and destructive.
