Ling Ling the Panda Pass Away

[Article]
TOKYO - Japan's oldest giant panda, Ling Ling, a longtime star at Tokyo's largest zoo and a symbol of friendship with China, died Wednesday of heart failure, zookeepers said. Ling Ling was 22 years and seven months old, equivalent to about 70 human years, the Ueno Zoo said. It said he was the fifth-oldest known male panda in the world. So sad

Underestimated

Its funny how people tend think that I'm always just some crazy random girl running down the hall screaming my lungs out. They always get the impression that I'm always loud outgoing and obnoxious. Which to their defense, is how I tend to act most of the time. On the contrary, most people don't see the deeper side of me. They underestimate the ability of my mind. In truth, a part of me enjoys intelligent conversation and interesting discussions. I like listening to people talk about science, art, music and debates. But not little chitty small talk; I like the in depth discussions. I guess to most, its quite a shocker (or maybe not) but I'm not really the type to speak my mind; a very private mind to say the least. Everyone takes first impression a bit too far; they don't seem to think I am capable of anything else. But they're not all to blame; there are faults on my part, for I don't really speak my mind half the time. Or well, at least not the deep stuff; I'm more of the silent, but thoughtful, listener type. So don't take my outer shell for granted; there's more to me than meets the eye. I may not be at a level of professionalism, but I'm at a point where I can put together a thorough discussion. My morals and ideals are much stronger than you think; so don't categorize me with all the girly girls that spend hours on their hair and the rest of the hours trying to look pretty. // Ventilation complete. Oh and I love witty humor. =D

John McLaren Park Photoshoot

I'm posting this late, but last week, a bunch of us went up to John Mclaren Park (Such a beautiful place to shoot or just hangout, but very secluded and quiet. I want to go again! Who wants to join me!?!?!) for a photoshoot. Before you think its all just fun any games, this photoshoot was very professional and strictly business - Editorial Magazine Layout Design final project. It was such an interesting experience. I felt so much power during the entire shoot. I felt like a dictator. Muahahah. It really felt like an authentic photoshoot; with little assistants running around and models bending/bowing to my every command. Awesome. Nonetheless, I must give my thanks and appreciation to my peeps. Thanks guys!!

Little Ada and Christine were my minions.

Alberto on the prowl. Also our bodyguard XD

My gorgeous models.

Got some pretty good shots by the end of it. =D

Fangirl conversations

Chocolate: oh you two
Chocolate: Twilight fangirls are scary
Tall: Hahaha
Tall: Yes, be very scared of us
Tall: Go hide in your corner! The fangirls are coming!!
Chocolate: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Chocolate: *creates a RPatts look-a-like life-size doll and throws it down the stairs*
Chocolate: ~distraction~
Tall: swarm of fangirls deteriorates it like a pack of piranhas
Chocolate: oh crap
Chocolate: you guys are scarier than I thought
Tall: That’s what fangirls do best
Tall: Aren’t YOU a fangirl!?!?!
Tall: The Office! Heros! House!
Chocolate: um, I'm not that crazy
Tall: Sure you aren’t ...
Tall: Release you inner fangirl!!
Chocolate: I'm a fan, not a fangirl
Tall: so you're a fanboy?
Chocolate: just "fan"
Tall: It’s the same thing; you just add a gender to the end
Chocolate: no
Tall: yes
Chocolate: fangirl is a derivative of fanatic, which is the crazy version of a fan
Tall: I’m sure you have had a crazy moment over The Office or something
Chocolate: fans are normal people
Tall: nobody’s normal
Tall: especially not you
Chocolate: whaaat
Chocolate: I am totally normal
Chocolate: everyone else is just weird
Tall: HA! Don’t make me laugh

Procrasination

So, I'm thinking about selling my Canon DSLR Camera. Even after all this time, I still feel guilty for spending so much money on it. That was the first time I've ever spent a large amount of money on something, and it just doesn't feel right. I can quite explain it. As much as I love the camera or any DSLR camera; I cant keep it and I don't need it. I much rather not waste money on things I don't NEED. I could live with a regular digital camera. =/ So if there is anyone who's interested, please contact me.

Fangirl Moment

We're killing some people today [Youtube] [Article]

WELCOME TO TWILIGHT...

Seriously, I replayed it like 20+ times. I cant get over it!!! I don't even know where to begin. What do I say to something as phenomenal as this. My first reaction, as ever, is my fangirlish scream/squeal and after repeating the same moment with Tiff on the phone, I continue to dissect the footage. Here are some key points, or well my footnotes.

-ROFL at baseball scene when Cullens jump around like monkeys in front of 'The Nomads'.
-Secondly, Esme totally reminds me to Scully from X-Files [Hahah]
-OMG. Hyperventilate at James's half naked top. [Hawt]
-Jasper is just as hot in tight baseball uniform. [Take off your shirt!!!]
-VFX and camera effects look super super awesome! I mean it!
-Edward and Bella moment! [Squeal!!]
-"You better hold on tight spidermonkey" [Laugh out loud]
-Ashley Greene has a cute adorable voice.
-ROFLMAO at James's butt crack shot.

This is going to be one kick ass movie. You have no idea whats about to hit you.

Stupid Behaviour

I feel so stupid .. This morning (or well noon cause I slept in), I was eating my breakfast and well for the longest time, I was have a bit of trouble eating my food. It didn't occur to me until I was about half way done that I was using my utensils with the wrong hand (I'm lefty for all those who still haven't figured it out). I don't know if its just me, but I tend to forget which I'm suppose to use sometimes. ><

Make me giggle

[Mirrored from Stephanie Meyer's Website]

Mike Welch can dance. (Boogie with a cutie)

Hugging Kellan Lutz is the closest you can get to hugging a vampire; he is made of granite. (But please do not try to hug Kellan without his permission. Thank you.) (GET HIM!!!)

Jackson Rathbone can really play the guitar. Our taste in music is not exactly the same, but we found common ground with Radiohead's Creep, with which he then serenaded me. (Oh yes, please serenade me next Jackson)

To conclude, I would like to make a few comments about Rob and Kristen, who are the true heart of this movie. First, they are both amazing actors. Second, they are channeling Edward and Bella like nobody's business. Third, you might want to bring a paper bag to the movie, because their on-screen chemistry may cause hyperventilation. That is all. (Note to self: bring paper bag to theaters)

Jackson Rathbone is BADASS HAWT!!

Seriously, I want to pounce him..

Adventures

Went to visit Kim at the hospital last week. It was a bittersweet moment because I got to see Kim, but I wasn't too fond of her status. It made me very upset, but I understood the intention and purpose. Quite the melancholy feeling. Nonetheless, I'm glad shes doing well. Trina and I later went hiking at Grand View Park - Sunset. Its exquisitely beautiful and alluring (Though considerably windy to say the least). The two of us were the only ones up there so it was an absolute breather to take in the view. We would of stayed there a bit longer but our faces were turning blue. XD So we hitched our arse to the Botanical Garden in GGP (My new playground). The place was truly an outdoor-ers dream. I loved every moment of it. There were a lot of squirrels, but one caught our attention the most. So Trina was trying to feed it a pretzel, but it wouldn't budge. It stood very still and motionless for a while until it moved, only to reveal that it took a leak. Highlight of the trip! Hilarious!! A lot more stories where that came from, but overall, it was an awesome adventure. I might bring my sketchbook next time; because its that gorgeous.

Pimple

Seriously, I had some of Frank's hot-cheetos & Tiff's onion-rings last night, and I got a PIMPLE this morning!!! Oh my gosh, I haven't had a pimple in years. Gaah!! I guess thats what happens when you stay healthy for a while and then sudden give into temptation for one measly evening. Grrrr ...

On another note, Kat and I raced the guys up the stairs the other day. They lost miserably. Men... SIGH. [Hahah]

Twilight News

In case you haven't noticed, Twilight news has been quite hectic since I last did a Twilight-entry. So much has happened since then. A lot of die-hard fans (Me included) have made their way across dangerous lands of dragons, violent seas, fight ugly giants; just to get a glimpse of our favorite cast. We had stalker moms, stalker teens, stalker extras, stalker guy fans. Its awesome I tell you! Since my last entry, there has been insider stories of the filming. There were quite some interesting stories such as the Apple trick in the cafeteria scene. Other stories include Kellan Lutz's (Emmet) private interview with TM; as well as his awesome and hilarious behavior on set. Many insiders have said that he was a n extremely friendly down to earth jokester. This just tickles my tummy. Many other stories include close encounters with our Edward, Robert Pattinson. Fans had the opportunity to talk to him, take pictures with him, and just stare at his sexiness. Hahah. I also learned a lot about how filming works. How they take hours prepping for a 10 second scene. Such dedication! It makes me want to switch to the MPT department. In other news, I've read up on many various interviews of cast members. I got a good incite on Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. Ackk I want to discuss everything that has happened since then. Maybe Ill just make a list...

Jessica the Hippo. The Gentle Giant.
[Jessica's Story]

During the 2000 Mozambique floods, a 26-pound baby hippo was washed up on a private lawn bordering the Blude River in South Africa's Limpopo province. A retired game warden, Tonie Joubert, found her and named her Jessica. As a calf, Jessica would sleep with the Jouberts on their double bed. Today, the nearly 1-ton, 7-year-old hippo sleeps on a mattress on the veranda, usually with a blanket to keep her warm and a curled-up dog for company.

I always love these kinds of story. Its inspiring and touching as I have been & always will be an animal lover. It jerks me heart to see thing miraculous things happening around the world. But its not all unicorns and rainbows, I've seen/heard/read many animal abuse as well. It angers me & push my inner secret desire to go out there and do something (Like animal precinct). Rambling complete.

Kutless - Promise of a lifetime

I have fallen to my knees
As I sing a lullaby of pain
I’m feeling broken in my melody
As I sing to help the tears go away
Then I remember the pledge you made to me

I know you’re always there
To my every prayer inside
I’m clinging to the promise of a lifetime
I hear the words you say
To never walk away from me and leave behind
The promise of a lifetime

Will you help me fall apart
Pick me up, take me in your arms
Find my way back from the storm
And you show me how to grow
Through the change
I still remember the pledge you made to me

I am holding on to the hope I have inside
With you I will stay through every day
Putting my understanding aside
And I am comforted

LAND OF THE FISHY

Monterey is truly a beautiful place, despite the tourist attraction. I found the place to be quite relaxing and breathtaking. It was a nice get away; to which I could sit and truly admire God's exquisite creation. I wish San Francisco beaches are just as nice. Sadly, people have neglected God's creation; its over populated and full of pollution.

Take my life

Take my life and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days,
let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Take my hands and let them move
at the impulse of Thy love.
Take my feet and let them be
swift and beautiful for Thee.
Here am I, all of me.
Take my life, it's all for Thee.
[Majestic]

I feel so lost. Every full moon or so, I start to think where I am in life. Its an overwhelming feeling that have been dealt with for over the past couple of years. Images and thoughts float around in my head; taunting me with the anxiety of the future. I've grown accustom to it as it have occurred frequently in the past, but sometimes I just feel the need to break down, thus the blog entry. I really hate this feeling. The feeling of unsurity and confusion. Its like walking in the dark; not knowing where it might lead to. It might take you to a place of bliss or it could take you to the borderline of a cliff. Its an uneasy feeling and I've been praying hard for it to go away. I've ask God for comfort and peace; to release me of my suspense and let him take the reins. People constantly tell me that there is no need to worry for God is in control and everything happens for a reason. Its not that easy, but I'm hanging on. I have the strength and independence, that God has given me, to carry on. Hopefully. I just wish for a sneak peak as to what my future holds for me. // --Ventilation complete.
