I stole a Dictionary of Theology book this past Sunday! Wuahaha! JK. It was free. So while I was working on this photo, I took a moment to look up the definition of promise – found some interesting little nibbets. In the New Testament Scriptures the word Epaggelia, which in the overwhelming number of instances is simply translated promise, as a noun and in its verbal form; or a message of good tidings.
